Your executive team is overjoyed to announce A COWICHAN VALLEY BUS TOUR! We have been talking about touring the Cowichan Valley for a few years now, and the time is finally right. Cowichan is home to 14 unique wineries making a name for the area as a destination wine region.

Our hotel in Chemainus is just 30 minutes from the two ferry terminals in Nanaimo (Departure Bay and Duke Point), offering access from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver or Tsawwassen in the south. Coordinate car-pooling with another member and enjoy some company on the ferry!

From Chemainus our bus will take us up and down the Cowichan valley as we explore some veteran wineries and beautiful autumn scenery in the midst of harvest season.

Come and join us for a unique experience and learn about the Canadian expression of Japan's national drink. Our special guest Masa Shiroki, founder of Artisan SakeMaker from Granville Island, will be sharing a few of his premium sake made sustainably, locally, and naturally. As well as some outstanding BC wines, we will enjoy a selection of delicious cheese from Benton Brothers, charcuterie from Oyama Sausage (including a Kazu Coppa marinated with Sake Kasu) as well as some tasty Sushi rolls. For those interested in the sake making process, Masa will be happy  to treat us to a tour of his sake making facility.

Our Cellarmaster has pulled a few gems out of storage and added some of the newest, award-winning BC wines to complement the sake, including the following:
