It has been an honour sharing BC wine with so many people and the Society is glad to declare "mission accomplished!" There are many more BC wine events in Metro Vancouver than there had been when we began, and the wineries are doing a fantastic job of sharing their products with local consumers: we are happy to leave matters in their capable hands. The five course menu will feature French dishes inspired by the abundance of fresh ingredients that BC has to offer matched with the wines of Polar Grove Winery.

While you are enjoying your meal Tony Holler of Poplar Grove will speak on the wine making process, and the characteristics of each wine.
 
The evening will begin with a reception from 6:00pm to 6:30pm with dinner service to follow.

Join us for a fun-filled weekend in Summerland where we are greeted with spectacular views of Okanagan Lake. While the area is experiencing exciting new developments, the region itself is immersed in history with wineries and vineyards over 25 years old. We will taste some delicious Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, and Rosé, in addition to an outstanding lineup of sparkling wines. Our weekend will include some cider tasting, lunch at Dirty Laundry, and a fabulous dinner at Play Winery in Penticton, to name but a few highlights.

Let's celebrate this wine-derful time of the year together with a BCWAS Winter-fest!
Please join us for a fun afternoon of wine and food at Russell and Catherine's amenity room (where this year's AGM was held). 

Each individual person please bring a bottle (&wine glass), and either an appy to share, or help us build a beautiful chacuterie board, with cheese, chacuterie, preserves, fresh fruit, nuts, dark chocolate, or bread/crackers.

Please feel free to bring a friend, but be sure to bring wine, a wine glass and either an appetizer, or a contribution to our large cheese and charcuterie board PER PERSON. 

​And of course, we will hold a raffle for some wines from our cellar.
