Be one of the lucky people on the 14th annual BCWAS Bus Tour this September! This year, we’re visiting the legendary Naramata Bench: there's always new wineries opening up to supplement some of our old favourites, so we are really looking forward to visiting the area again! Highlights will include a lunch at Hillside Winery Bistro, a dinner at brand new TIME Winery & Kitchen, and lunch at Lake Breeze Vineyards. We’ll be based at the Sandman Hotel in Penticton. We’ve reserved a block of rooms (until July 18), and several keeners have already booked! Our nightly rate is $139, and there are rooms that range from single King or Queen Bed to dual Double Bed, and many with kitchens. Hotel amenities include two restaurants (Denny's and Bar One Urban Lounge), indoor pool, hot tub, fitness centre, free WiFi, and room service. Please note that our room rates do not include breakfast - that's what Denny's is for! To reserve, call 250-493-7151 and use Group ID 329552 to get the special rate. Please note: transportation to/from the Okanagan and accommodation is not included in the tour price, so please make your own arrangements. You don’t have to stay at the Sandman if you have an alternative, but please make sure you are there on time each morning.  We had such a great time at the Penthouse last summer we just had to return for another party! If you weren't there last year, this awesome events space had an expansive rooftop terrace and gorgeous view of the city and mountains. It’s a super location in Vancouver - only a block from the Science World Skytrain station, so you can take transit easily. The Penthouse Event Suites is happy to host us once again!
This time we're stepping it up a notch to include a full pig roast alongside a dozen mouth-watering, perfectly paired BC wines. Wines being poured include both exclusive new releases and gems from the BCWAS cellar. Even some of the new releases are already sold out in the busy Okanagan tasting rooms, let alone others like the decade-old Nota Bene we are serving! There will be something for everyone to enjoy:

Please make sure you have a safe way home: take transit, call a cab, or ask a friend to be a designated driver. We will have free transit tickets on hand for those who take transit home. Please note that we are unable to provide refunds. If you purchase a ticket but cannot attend the event, please let us know with as much advance notice as possible and we’ll try to re-sell your ticket, but we cannot guarantee this. |
